Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a silver ring as a test before making a gold, palladium or platinum purchase?
Yes you can order a silver ring to ensure fit and quality and then return it to upgrade to a different material.
How do I find my ring size?
See sizing.
Can I exchange if it doesn’t fit?
Yes you can exchange for a new size or return for a refund for whatever reason. See returns and exchanges for more information on this.
Are the rings solid or plated?
The rings are solid sterling silver or 10k, 14k 18k yellow or white gold, palladium or platinum and not plated. See the about material page for more information on that.
What do I do if I have a reaction to the silver?
Some people will react to sterling silver as it does contain a very small amount of copper. Regular cleaning (see materials and care) will usually take care if the issue but in some circumstances an upgrade or custom material may be needed. It is possible to have your ring rhodium plated by a local jeweler but this is not something we offer.
Can I get a custom tread, size or material?
Yes we can do custom orders that are priced on an individual basis. You can email us your request. Custom orders do take more time and have custom fees associated with them as well. Typically a custom ring is about $75 to $150 over the cost of a similar stock item of the same material.
Do you offer engraving?
We do not have in house engraving at this time. This is something we suggest you have done locally. If you can’t get it done locally we can do it for you using our regular hand engraver but this will take additional time and expense.
Do you ship international overseas?
Yes we will ship anywhere that does not prohibit jewelry imports. We can ship USPS 1st class mail international or USPS Express Mail International. International 1st class can take a long time (sometimes over 4 weeks in transit)so if you are anxious then you should use Express. It is possible that your order could incur customs fees or be delayed in customs. I have no control over this.
Why should I buy from Brian Bergeron Designs?
Ok so this is not a question people ask me but I’m assuming it is what they may be thinking if they have seen other rings on the web. Other rings that look similar or are named similarly are in violation of our copyrights and trademarks and we hope that you would respect that. If you see similar products it is very possible that we are already taking legal action against them. We have designed; created and marketed the products that others have stolen, outsourced, and then piggybacked on our web search terms that didn’t even exist before. We got the 1st copyrights in 2002 and have been producing domestically made quality designs with quality craftsmanship ever since. We would hope that this issue would mean something to those who will be putting a meaningful object on their person and we thank you. Please report counterfeits or trademark infringements here.
